Sunday, July 26, 2026

Conor White delivered a consistent series of performances as the 2026 South London Grand Prix returned to the historic Herne Hill Velodrome, one of Britain's most iconic cycling venues. The annual event, a highlight of the UCI track racing calendar, attracted elite riders for two days of high-speed competition, with White lining up in the Men's Elite Endurance events against a strong international field. White opened his campaign in the 10km Scratch Race, producing a determined ride to finish ninth after battling throughout the fast-paced contest. He was back on the track for the Men's Elite Elimination Race, where riders are eliminated one-by-one over successive laps. White remained in contention deep into the race before eventually placing 13th. The Bermudian rounded off his weekend in the demanding 30km Madison, one of track cycling's most tactical disciplines. Combining endurance, speed and perfectly timed exchanges, White delivered his strongest result of the meeting, finishing fifth against a quality field. While a podium finish narrowly eluded him, White's performances across three endurance disciplines demonstrated both his versatility and competitiveness at one of the UK's premier track cycling events, providing another encouraging outing as he continues his 2026 racing campaign.
