Bermudian international Lauren Cardwell helped the University of Toronto Varsity Blues maintain their flawless start to the 2026 pre-season campaign with a 2-0 victory over the University of Waterloo Warriors. Following dominant wins over the Varsity Blues Alumni (4-1) and Western University (5-0), Toronto delivered another measured performance at Back Campus Fields to register their third consecutive pre-season triumph. Cardwell played a central role in anchoring a resolute defensive setup that recorded back-to-back clean sheets, frustrating Waterloo’s attacking sorties while Toronto's forward line struck either side of the interval to seal the win.
