Taking to the pool in the men’s 50m backstroke, Harvey stopped the clock in 25.20 seconds to secure an 11th-place finish. In the A Final Harvey finished 6th touching the wall in a time of 25.36. The impressive swim equaled the record mark he set just weeks prior at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, underscoring the 23-year-old’s consistent form on the international stage. Double Presence in Women's Backstroke In the women’s 50m backstroke preliminaries, Bermuda had a two-pronged attack with Emma Harvey and Madelyn Moore both in action. Emma Harvey spearheaded the Bermudian effort in the event, touching the wall in 29.27 seconds to place 19th overall. Madelyn Moore was close behind, recording a time of 29.74 seconds to claim 23rd position.
