Bermuda Contingent in Preliminary Action in Vancouver

Bermuda’s young swimmers took to the pool as preliminary heats got under way at the 2026 Junior Pan Pacific Championships inside the UBC Aquatic Centre in Vancouver. Teagan Mewett produced a strong showing in the 13–18 women's 200m breaststroke, clocking 2:44.18 in the heats to secure 17th place overall. In the 13–18 men's 50m freestyle, Connor Hupman led the Bermudian trio with a 24.12-second swim to place 30th. Noah Maranzana touched the wall in 25.33 to finish 39th, while Logan Jones followed closely behind in 41st with a time of 25.47. Katherine Wheddon rounded out the session in the 13–18 women's 50m freestyle, touching in 28.42 to finish 37th in a competitive preliminary field.
